As the calendar turns toward the holiday season, we at The Ellman Agency are proud to announce that for the second year running, Marine Toys for Tots will be the beneficiary of our Community Cause program, running from October through December. Our mission is simple but profound: to help spread joy and hope to children who otherwise go without, especially during the festive season. Many of us wake up in homes warmed by love, laughter and opportunity; yet in many corners of the world, children lie in bed on Christmas Eve wondering whether they will receive so much as a small gift. We are deeply mindful of how blessed we are — and how urgently we must step forward for those who are not! Toys for Tots has been delivering exactly that kind of hope since 1947, when Major Bill Hendricks and his wife Diane decided to collect and distribute 5,000 toys to children in need. Today, the program reaches across more than 800 local campaigns — distributing some 19 million toys to more than 7.3 million children in a single year. This season, every referral we receive through The Ellman Agency will translate into a $10 donation to Toys for Tots. That means your simple act of referring a client helps put a toy — and a spark of hope — into the hands of a child.
